It revolves around Umer Jehangir and Aleezay Sikandar. Two people both from broken bureaucrat families. Aleezay Sikandar who had her complexes, her desire in life to be loved and taken care of and Umar Jehangir, a character with multiple shades. What makes Umer intriguing and fascinating are the imperfections in him, a character that is very realistic but never sketched before, a mixture of good and evil, far from the usual perfect hero; normally depicted in our novels. On the surface he was a selfish and corrupt man, but deep inside he had a caring and sensitive heart, who longed for his mother's love, cared for his friends and was totally aware of his own weaknesses and that awareness of himself is what made him sacrifice his love. He is a character one cannot resist falling in love with despite all his weaknesses. We hope, Umaira's fans will also like this book. |

IT WAS A VERY GOOD NOVEL BUT I WAS NOT EXPECTING SUCH A PAINFUL END. UMER SHOULD NOT HAVE DIED. I'VE OBSERVED ONE THING IN UMAIRA AHMED THAT IN MOST OF HER NOVEL ONE OF THE MAIN CHARACTER(HERO/HEROIN) IS LET TO DIE.PLZ PLZ PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ DON'T LET THEM DIE N DON'T SEPARATE THEM.THAT'S REALLY VERY PAINFUL.JUST BECAUSE OF THIS REASON I'VE DECIDED TO QUIT READING YOUR NOVELS.
this novel is amazing.i like it soooooooooooooooooooo much because i also belong to a broken family and i can understand the feelings of these children.

Umaira Ahmed ka ye novel mn ny us time prha,jb mn first year mn tha,kch din pehly jb k mn apni professional life mn a chuka hun,dobara ye novel kitaab ghr website pr nzron sy guzra to bay ikhtiyar prhny ko dill chaha,it's a good novel and true picture of our corrupt bureaucratic culture.
