| Description | Amarbail by Umaira Ahmad is a love story of Umar Jehangir and Aleezay Sikandar, set-up in the backdrop of Pakistani bureaucratic culture. A very simply written novel of Umaira Ahmed, deals with multiple issues of our society in a very intriguing manner. It is a story of imbalanced relationships, broken families, lust for power, complexes, insecurities and amidst all problems of love, its intensity and sacrifices. It depicts the true face of our bureaucratic system, highlighting social evils like corruption, nepotism. The novel touches your heart by its brilliant portrayal of human emotions and psychology. It revolves around Umer Jehangir and Aleezay Sikandar. Two people both from broken bureaucrat families. Aleezay Sikandar who had her complexes, her desire in life to be loved and taken care of and Umar Jehangir, a character with multiple shades. What makes Umer intriguing and fascinating are the imperfections in him, a character that is very realistic but never sketched before, a mixture of good and evil, far from the usual perfect hero; normally depicted in our novels. On the surface he was a selfish and corrupt man, but deep inside he had a caring and sensitive heart, who longed for his mother's love, cared for his friends and was totally aware of his own weaknesses and that awareness of himself is what made him sacrifice his love. He is a character one cannot resist falling in love with despite all his weaknesses. We hope, Umaira's fans will also like this book. |

I just finished the Novel.I'm big fan of Umaira Ahmed.This Novel was very nice but I'll say it feels too long some how...kuch jagoon pe aisa mehsos hota hai k Novel khushak hai...but end was out standing..I cried a lot....

mairi palkhen abi tak nam hain jb mai type kar raha hon. aap ne bht hi acha novel likh hai jis ki tareef k iliye maire pas alfaaz nhi hain.mai ne is novel se bht kuch skha hai ap ka novel haqiqt se dhor nhi hai waqt chahe kitna hi badl jay par Mohabbat k jazbe badal nhi sakte.ap k is novel ne mairi soch badal k rakh di hai. Allah aap ko khsh rakhe Ameen."Hame novel ko sirf enjoy k liye nhi pardhna chahiye kuch sikhna bi chahiye"

ap ka novel buht acha hai....buht acha...but ap ne umer ko maar k acha nahi kia.buht rulaya hai ap ne esa kar k.kuch deir to mujhe laga k mujhe ye novel nahi prhna chahye tha.ap ko umer aur aleezay ki shadi krwani chahye thi...lekin phir b novel buht acha hai.thanx for this novel
really we can not stop ourselves falling in love with umar.i love too this caharacter.i never read such type of character in urdu literature i love umar bt sakeena samoo spoil whole novel

novel is very good but umera aapi aap ne umer ko mara q aap ko is tarhan nahe karna tha mujhat to bohat rulaya hai is novel ne aap novel ka happy end bhi to kar sakti thi its a just story not real life
