I think writer's point is the mis-use of inventions not the inventions itself. As each and every invention / product / service goes in major societies / countries. We in Pak, mis-using it majorly.
the thing i don't like that when the writer portray all the new inventions belong to west but how can we servive in this day of age without them. all we have to do that teach our children right from wrong.

I was talking to my brother Junaid Raja who happen to be my friend also, and he said that our new generation is brilliant and smart, we convert them in to emotional fools…….and I do totally agree, we do not listen to our kidz, if they do not question us or answer back then we believe they “respect” us but I want to ask everybody out there” what is respect? I kind of feel bad for kidz out there who have to put up with us as parents , we emotionally black mail them to get them do what we want and become what we want, please help them succeed them in life by the mistake they make and talk to them instead of punishing them …
when we say Angrazzon ki sasih nay Islamic society KO masakh kar diya hay what is Islamic Society?

You are right I really have no idea of the what media is showing , I don’t have desi TV in my house but what we see in American TV you sure don’t see that on Pakistani TV , so what we do it we Control on how much TV kidz watch , what they watch …………you can never Raise you kidz in Bubble , they will be expose to the outside world and it will not always be the way you want , Help make them good decisions, and teach them good values ………. …..we need to raise the responsible citizen who understand the values and the difference between good and bad. We live in a society that have everything you wrote hear, kidz are becoming parents at the age of 12 and 13,they learn about the relationship at the age of 6 or 7 may be earlier,………what I really trying to say is everybody have their own values and we need to lean to accept others also ……………….let me stop here and tell you I just figure out that I can never be a writer because I can’t get my thoughts straight………..but poke me more and let’s see what others have to add

Hi Miss Raja...we met again
I am fully agree with you, that Technology itself is not bad but its use can be. That is the particular point miss nazia tried to pin.
This story is written in Pakistan Society, since you are not here, you have no idea what our Cell Phones Company are showing on TV ADs. They are promoting dating, romance, love (lust?) culture. Only Ufone ads are decent, all other companies show young girls and boys, talking on cells. Cell phone companies "Alia ko mananay ke lie" offering free minutes and thousands of SMS.
Whats the point in offering mid-night calling packages?
Whats the point in offering virtually unlimited SMS packages?...Don't we have other things to do except texting?
The Cell Phone Companies offer another service i.e., anonymous chat / talk, where the ID / Cell number is hidden to others. You can imagine whats the purpose of this feature.
Similarly, a cell phone company offered an amazing feature of AUTO DELETE message. Now one can send / receive anything INDECENT without the fear that someone might see it in inbox or sent folder.
Now will someone tell me... who will benefit from these cell phone services? business class? working class? house wives?
Certainly Not...Only youngsters will enjoy it and use it for phone-friendship lying in their beds. Its not the only issue, the other side of the problem is even worst. Do you think our new generation will be able to pay attention in class and study if they had spent the half night in romance / vulgar talk?
When we see Indian cell phone ads, those are far decent and with positive approach. They show distant education in schools through cell phone, medical assistance through Cell / GPRS connectivity and many other similar things (IDEA mobile ADs are example).
In Pakistani ADs, we only see encouraging of romance, friendship...like its the only use of cell phones. When we see this all and give it a thought, it sure looks like "Angraiz Ki Saazish"
I have much more to say but its enough for first reply...will say more in next post...
Hey all,
I kind of agree with ‘’ Fainaz” and what I wanted to add is that , Technology is vener bad , it is the use of it , and the other thing is Please stop blaming other for our own mistakes, everything is” Angrazoon ki sazish “ we are the society , if we as mother cant gain the trust of our own kids , it’s our own fault, Kidz should be able to come and share their problem with us, but they don’t why ?and attraction to the opposite gender is normal , help your kid come out of Crush, and stop being Hippocrates , if something is not acceptable for girl , it should be the same for boys also , if your son can have girlfriend then your daughter can have boyfriend , same rules for girls and boys ………..and I also wanted to say in the 3rd story “ I fell in love with Molvi sahib character , I hope we can learn from him ……

wow...nice comparison. Since I have not read her any other story, so can't say anything...
But as far as names of the characters are concerned, that could be typos. kitaabghar guys need to improve their editorship.
Commercial writers who writes monthly (in digests) and in some cases, write for many digests, keep doing this stuff. I mean repeating situations, dialogues and sometimes character. So in my humble view, its not an issue for the story we read at any particular time.
The theme of this story and topic she selected is good and I like it. Its a good attempt show whats going on behind the Cell Phone Screens and PC Monitor Screens.
First of all thanks so much to Kitaab Ghar for being the most amazing urdu website. I love this site and visit it everyday and recommend it to everyone i know.
I just want to say that Nazia Kanwal is an extremely immature writer and she really needs a good editor to find all the mistakes she makes with mixing her characters. In almost all of her stories, her characters keep changing names. In the first story, the hero's name was Romaan Bari, then it became Ihsaan Bari and then it was Mr. Bari and even Kaashi at some places which is very confusing for the reader. Also in the second story, hero heroine ka accident ka scene and dialogues bhi wohi thay jo Raig-E-Dasht mein Tamkeen and Areej ke beech hotay hain. When i read her stories, i feel as if im watching star plus bcuz it's mostly overly dramatic and impossible in real life. I hope she becomes a better writer and stop borrowing her story lines from indian soaps.
