Description
Collection of stage dramas by Jawaid Danish, a distinguished Indian prose writer who is residing in CANADA for the last 28 years. He earned a good name in drama writing. He wrote many books including, dramas, short stories, travelouges and translation of other books into urdu. He has won many awards and medals.

His Book "Hijrat ke Tamashe" (collection of dramas on migration and problems of migrators) is one of its kind and has won Canadian "Best Book of the Year" award in year 1999 and Urdu academy Kolkata (India) award in year 2000. This book was also translated into Bengali and Kannada.

Simply great, marvelous plays...only an immigrant playwright can pen these sentiments, Ehasan is right, one has to be an immigrant to relate to these autobigrphical plays. Good work...Good Luck...

I have lived in states, and now returned to my homeland, but I can relate with the plays of jawaid danish, its true that one has to be a Tarkeen Watan to enjoy and understand his plays.

I love these Lively and realistic Plays, potraying the real life of immigrant families in the west. My favorite is EID KA KARB, congrats. Kitaabghar for such a wonderful book.

I belong to the Old school of Hindustan, I can read and write urdu, this book is a gift for Overseas Indians and pakistanis, it should have been translated in hindi, and gurmukhhi also... Bravo danish saheb. good luck.

I have acted in danish ji-s plays, and find it real interesting
and close to our life in canada, my favourite is "Kunware Bhale",

Jawaid Danish Ka Dramayee safar, "PROMETHEUS- se shuroo hua tha, ab woh HIJRAT KE TAMASHEY lekar samne aaye hain. Inki shakhsiyat ki dilkashi unke usloob ki barjastagi main utar aayee hai. Kaif o suroor ki khususiyaat ke saath saath qari inn dramon main mahajiron ki nafsiyaati kashmakash ka pur asr muta-ala karta hai. Danish ke dramon ko mukhtalif elaqaayee lahje aur boli tholi aur inki saadgi ne aik khaas husn ataa kar diya hai.
