<br>Hindustan Hamara is a Travelogue of India by Qamar Ali Abbasi, perhaps the most popular Travelogue Writer of Urdu Language. He was born In Amroha (India) and later moved to Pakistan. After completing his higher studies of M.A (Economics) and M.A (Urdu), He joined the National College Karachi as Lecturer of Economics. He passed C.P.S.C and joined Radio Pakistan Lahore as Assistant director in 1966. He served Radio Pakistan for 32 years as a station director in Kuzdar, deputy controller and chief editor Ahang Pakistan Calling, Controller, Station director Radio Pakistan Karachi. After leaving Radio Pakistan he joined Jang publication as an Editor of Info Line. In 1999, he moved to the United States and joined the Weekly publication Awam as a Cheif Editor. Presently, He is writing Daily and Weekly Columns in Urdu newspapers all over the world which can be accessed through most of the news papers and their web sites. He has written 18 children's books and 28 Travelogues. He received the prestigious All Pakistan Newspaper Award for the best Column in 1991. He received pride of the Tamaga-i-Imtiaz in 2000. He has received many awards from different association and countries for his contributions to the Urdu literature.

hindustan hamara took me to my own people whom i never met before ,but they are my maamoo,my khaala,my chachi .i love the detailes ,its nothing like typical safarnama ,its about people and feelings .I love the way he explained the colour and texture of food ( qormaa and surkh naan till walay )gosh ,you guys eat a lot ,thanks kitab ghar ,you are awesome.

very nice book and writing style is very different just like one person is setting in family and telling story.
